Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Dream Note (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Dream Note ("we", "us", or "our"). They apply to all users of the App and the website at dreamnote.app.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will notify you of material changes via a push notification or prominent in-app notice at least 7 days in advance.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the European Economic Area) to use Dream Note. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.

Dream Note is not directed to children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has created an account, we will delete it and all associated data promptly.

Account Registration

You may sign up using an email address and password, or via Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others
• Notify us immediately at support@dreamnote.app if you suspect unauthorized access to your account
• Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account

You may only create one account per person. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent feature limits or subscription restrictions is prohibited.

Free & Pro Plans

Dream Note is available in two tiers:

We reserve the right to adjust the features included in each plan and to introduce new tiers. Changes to free-plan limits will be communicated in advance.

Subscriptions & Billing

Plans & Pricing

Dream Note Pro is available as a weekly, monthly, or yearly auto-renewing subscription. Current pricing is displayed in the App at the time of purchase.

Billing & Auto-Renewal

Subscriptions are billed through the platform you used to subscribe — Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android). Payment is charged to your store account at confirmation of purchase and at the start of each renewal period. We do not collect or store your payment card details.

Free Trials

We may offer a free trial period for Pro. If a trial is available, it will be clearly indicated before purchase. Your subscription begins at the end of the trial period and you will be billed automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain Pro access until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for unused portions of a billing period.

Refunds

All refund requests must be submitted directly to Apple Support or Google Play Support. We are unable to issue refunds, as we do not process payments. Each platform's refund policy applies.

Price Changes

We may change subscription prices from time to time. Price changes will be communicated in advance and, where required by platform policy, will require your affirmative consent to renew at the new price.

Your Content

Ownership

You retain full ownership of all dream text, voice narrations, and personal notes you submit to Dream Note ("Your Content"). We do not claim any intellectual property rights over Your Content.

License to Us

By using Dream Note, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and transmit Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the App's services — including sending your dream text to AI providers to generate interpretations and images on your behalf. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.

Your Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you record. You agree not to submit content that:

• Violates any applicable law or regulation
• Infringes the intellectual property or privacy rights of any third party
• Contains material that is harmful, defamatory, or abusive toward others

Data Export & Deletion

You can export all your dreams as a JSON file or delete your account and all associated data at any time. See our Privacy Policy for details, or visit the account deletion page.

AI-Generated Content

How It Works

Dream Note uses third-party AI services — including Google Gemini (for interpretation) and fal.ai (for image generation) — to produce content based on your dream descriptions. The results are stored in your account.

Nature of AI Outputs

AI-generated interpretations and images are provided for personal journaling and entertainment purposes only. They are not professional psychological advice, medical diagnosis, or any form of clinical assessment. Do not make health or wellness decisions based solely on AI interpretations from Dream Note.

Accuracy

AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unexpected. We do not guarantee the correctness, safety, or suitability of any AI-generated output. You use AI features at your own discretion.

Ownership of AI Outputs

AI-generated images and interpretations produced from Your Content are associated with your account and available to you within the App. We make no warranty regarding intellectual property rights in AI-generated outputs and disclaim liability for third-party IP claims arising from AI-generated content.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use Dream Note only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the App
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to access or interact with the App
• Circumvent or interfere with any security, rate-limiting, or authentication features
• Abuse the free trial or create multiple accounts to bypass feature limits
• Use the App to transmit spam, malware, or any other harmful content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts or our systems
• Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its AI outputs without our written permission
• Use the App in any way that violates Apple's or Google's platform policies

Violation of these rules may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.

Intellectual Property

Our Property

Dream Note, its logo, design, codebase, AI prompting systems, and all related materials are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not use our trademarks or branding without prior written consent.

Feedback

If you submit feedback, ideas, or suggestions about the App, you grant us an irrevocable, royalty-free right to use that feedback for any purpose without compensation or attribution to you.

Privacy

Your use of Dream Note is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the App, you consent to the data practices described in the Privacy Policy.

In particular, your dream content is sent to third-party AI providers (Google Gemini, fal.ai) to generate interpretations and images. Please review the Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled and shared.

Disclaimers

The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of AI-generated content
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

We do not warrant that the App is free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so the above may not apply to you in full.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or dream content
• Loss of profits or revenue
• Emotional distress caused by AI-generated interpretations
• Service interruptions or technical failures
• Actions taken in reliance on AI-generated content

Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you in full.

Termination

By You

You may stop using the App at any time and delete your account from within the App or via the account deletion page. Deleting your account cancels all access to your data and cannot be undone.

By Us

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, if you breach these Terms — including but not limited to fraudulent use, abuse of AI features, or violation of platform policies.

We may also discontinue the App or any feature at any time. In the event of discontinuation, we will provide reasonable notice where possible.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 11, 12, and 15) shall survive.

Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via push notification or a prominent in-app notice at least 7 days before the changes take effect, and update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Dream Note after changes become effective constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App and delete your account.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Turkey, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions. Any dispute arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Turkey.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Dream Note regarding your use of the App and supersede any prior agreements.
